One of the things we enjoy most about living in Jaco, Costa Rica, is the variety of sunrises and sunsets over the Pacific Ocean. It has fascinated me to watch the horizon each morning and evening. It is different every day. It intrigues me to watch the same spots each day and see totally different conditions with regard to color in the sky, cloud formations, light rays, etc.
So, I’ve been collecting photos of sunrises and sunsets. I did a little research on what causes the different colors. Instead of me trying to sound scientific, you can find information on this, too, by clicking here: https://www.differencebetween.com/difference-between-sunrise-and-vs-sunset/
I did learn that sunrises tend to emphasize more bluish and violet colors, and sunsets emphasize reds, oranges, and yellows.
I hope you enjoy this collection of “Sunrise, Sunset” photos I’ve taken over the last two months. Can you identify whether each photo is a sunrise or a sunset?
